I ordered the Commodore : Company On The Edge book last Friday (12/24) in the afternoon. It arrived before 10 AM this morning. I was not expecting such fast service with the holiday and the weekend.
I wanted to share a positive story about an excellent Amiga dealer.
Thank you Amiga Kit!

They have always been very quick, every time I order from them it arrives within 1 or 2 weeks (remember I am in Australia.. :D).
There service has always been top notch.
-
Did they pay you to say that or just give you a discount off your next purchase?
-
eh. I've always gotten good and quick service, as well as quick replies to inquiries.

Hmmm... good idea. Who do I contact????
Seriously, in this age where customer service is usually...well.. let's say "less than optimal", I have made it a point to thank people and companies that actually seem to treat customers really well.
Lenovo recently won my respect for the same reason.... Many other computer companies have lost my business....

Lost count of how many threads there are on here brown-nosing AmigaKit though.
Good service should come as standard.

AmigaKit have always given me excellent service too, although they have missed an occasional email inquiry (so if you don't get a reply the first time them make sure you email them again with "SECOND REQUEST" emblazoned in the header, and email the store instead of PMing them here. ;)
Elbox have also bent over backwards to provide with with after-sales support, so well done Elbox too.
Vesalia have been a pleasure to deal with for my 8 bit stuff.
Software Hut have to be checked for a pulse to make sure they're alive when asking questions, but have delivered orders promptly.

True, but in our small market we should be thankfull that we get any service at all. Just look at the Elbox Christmas thread that rapidly turned into a "screw you" thread.
Honestly, at times I wonder why anybody wants to do business with us.
