Centsible is now posting under "Centsisoft". Don't know how new the management is. Anybody got a line on them. The one guy told me that the reason he hadn't shipped the extra items was that the storage locker was crammed too full. But if he's sold the business (that would be the the second time; maybe we've got a more honourable type looking after it. ) Should contact them and see if they will give me the items I've already paid for at no extra cost. :-(

who is centsible? another ebay con artist?
why dont people ask for their address so that u can send a cheque to them and then go round there and give them a shoeing?
-
I bought a few things from them a few weeks ago, from the actual web site. The guy I dealt with seemed decent but new when it cam eto shipping .
If it turns up in a reasonable time and working I will be happy :)

:roflmao:
Send them some compensation in the form of a cheque for the beating they're about to receive!

This appears to be the same guy who also used the accounts "wd8izh" and "centsi". Both accounts were NARU'd a few months ago. Others here will remember them.

I honestly don't know if it is or not. If you have some solid information please provide:-)
It is entirely possible this is someone new. A while back I responded to what was supposedly an inventory sell-off. The response I got was that the inventory was already sold to someone else by the time I responded. I really don't know the names of the people involved in any incarnation of Centsible so I cannot say for certain that in fact it has changed owners, but it sounds possible.

Oh man! Here we go again. Well.. I guess I will see what these "new" owners can do for me. I still want my damn Hds! ARGH. I guess new ownership isnt obligated to help me out..but why stick with the same name?!? With the bad press Censible was getting as of late..you'd be better off starting a-new and calling yourself Bob'sAmigaCrapShoppe or whatever.

The original owners of Centsible were listed as located in Berrien Springs, MI if I recall correctly. The holder of the accounts wd8izh and centsi was listed as located in Edwardsburg, MI. The holder of the account centsisoft is also listed as Edwardsburg, and the exact same graphics and text are being used for the listings. The inventory offered for sale is the same also.

Centsible was a used Amiga/C64 software/hardware dealer, who specialized in mostly buying out other defunct dealers and software bargains, then reselling them. They have changed owners in the past year I believe, I think the guy who owns it now is Bill Griffin, of ''The New Amigans" magazine fame. Can't comment on how well things are going, as I haven't bought anything from Centsible since he's owned it (nor in a couple years)...

There was also another account, I believe, but I can't remember the name.
Here are comments on these accounts wd8izh (http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=wd8izh) and centsi (http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=centsi).

Maybe I can give him a beating if you get the address and pay for my cab/bus...

Found this ""press release (http://www.centsible.com/pressreleases.shtml) on the Centsible web site (http://www.centsible.com/), so I guess it's still the same guy I dealt with last time. :-?
I guess I should try to contact him again and see what's what. Maybe he's a little more organized now.

hello @all:
I recommended that all persons dealing with Centsible in the past - at Ebay or by website - take a look at this Thread:
BEWARE of AMIGA Dealer: Centsible.com (EAB board) (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=139133#post139133)
posted by me at the english Amiga board.
As you can see I'm not the ony person being "ripped" by Mr.Griffin, now located at Edwardsburg, MI.
I recommend and advise that anybody files a FRAUD complaint, by credit card company, paypal AND in ADDITION at the FBI! - there's actually a site hosted for internet complaints at FBI Internet Complaint Center (http:// http://www.ifccfbi.gov/)
By follow ups to mine - they have to react.
I even forced paypal to deny their account further more.
Assistance on this "issue" needed, anyone who can provide additional informaition on this may contact me.
Many thanks.
regards,
Olli k.

I finally recieved my order, yesterday to be precise :).
The Postage stamp was from the beginning of December so it was the postal service (or maybe customs here in Australia?) that was being slack.
Thankfully I never had any troubles (as I read on the link to the message board).
