Title: WinUAE "add harddrive" doesn't show my Amiga HD

I mostly use my real Amiga, but I had huge amount of stuff to transfer from my Athlon so I decided to give the thing a try. Took off my Amiga's HD ans stucked it into my PC. It's well recognized on bootup. Windows doesn't show it thougt and the Add harddrive on the harddrives scree doesn't show any disk. Any suggestions.... :-?

Are you running Windows 2000 or XP?  The direct HD access doesn't work with Win9x.  Other than that, if it shows up under "Computer Management", it *should* appear in WinUAE.

Nah.. too risky, who knows what might come with it... I'm just gonna have a beer with a couple of friends while I think about it. Who knows, maybe I'll have some inspiration... :-D
