Title: Ibrowse users, can you reproduce this problem?
Post by: AmigaMance on December 18, 2010, 07:03:38 AM
Depositfiles was working fine with Ibrowse a week ago. Now, my system crashes or freezes on the download page. It happens everytime. Here is a random link for you to test:
http://depositfiles.com/files/x173uqipw
You can try any link, since it happens with all uploaded files. It requires javascript. All you have to do is to press the free downloading button and wait.
If you get the message "We are sorry, but all downloading slots for your country are busy", press the reload button or try later.
It still works with AWeb, btw..

It's working fine here with Genesis + IBrowse 2.4 demo. Have you tried clearing your cache?

System:
A3KD, KS3.1, WB3.1
Prometheus + Voodoo3 + RTL8029
ZorRam 128MB

Yes, cache and cookies. It happens under MOS 1.4.5, too! Very strange.

So, the rest of the Ibrowse users who did not reply, didn't reproduce the problem? Didn't bother to try? Too busy bumping that shithole instead of reporting it and move along?

That's a negative: IBrowse 2.4 had no trouble but on the contrary, I didn't even need to wait in line for downloading.

Ok.
I see that they definitely changed something. It used to require javascript and i always access it with javascript enabled. Now, it no longer requires it and if i disable it, i'm able to download files too.
Thus, i assume that there has to be a bug in at least some versions of the javascript.library that it is triggered only in specific setups.

That would make sense, as my default settings have Java disabled.

Yep, I can reproduce your problems; Javascript enabled = crash/reset, disabled = download okay.
