Hi,
I just bought a Video toaster v1 off ebay that comes with no documents or software. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the docs plus the 2.0 SW?
Also, last night I was trying to load or upgrade Amigados 3.1 on my A2000HD with a CSA 030 CPU and had problems with the workbench 3.1 disk having a bad sector. Dose anyone carry this release for download or for sale?
Thanks,
Jim

With upgrading to Amigados 3.1, can you just copy all the files off the disk to the had drive and install from there? Or just drag and drop the WB files to c:? I haven't used an Amiga in years and have forgotten most everything I used to know so please bear with me.
Thanks,

If you can't find a website dedicated to it, I've seen many video toaster software upgrades and docs and other video toaster related items like training videos for sale on ebay.

Toaster 4000 manual (http://www.discreetfx.com/documents/Video_Toaster_4000_Manual.pdf)
This link will get you much closer for the manual even though it's not the older 2.0 version.
I think I have an extra original 2.0 manual in a box somewhere....
My original 4.x manual looks like a copy (The illustrations are difficult to view.) even though it has the original binder and heavy section dividers. Thanks for the .pdf Pyromania. Much appreciated.

Hey Thanks,
I found and downloaded the open toaster SW. I don't see anything concerning an installation disk. Which disk package should I try to load or just unzip the folder and drop it on the system?
Thanks,
Jim

and downloaded the open toaster SW.
Not sure about that. The software offered on the openvideotoaster site is the source code and wont do you any good... you would need to get the NewTek released software.
2.x comes on a stack of floppies and occassionally found on ebay and most of the time a disk or two are corrupted. Your best bet is to get the 4.x release on cd. But that brings up the problem of getting a cd unit onto your miggy...
...the joy of outdated commputing. :)
Unless Mr. P Mania can help ya a little farther than with just a general link.
