I just saw a the Planet Potion 64kb intro. Damn, that intro is the greatest piece of demoscene soft I've ever seen. Duration 7,5 min, so many things, colours, music, and it's only 64kb.. echhh..
Can be downloaded from http://www.potion.z.pl (http://www.potion.z.pl) (divx video)
There are two others demos of Potion to download in DIVX

I am not finished downloading the planet potion demo, but have my favorite 64k demo here...
http://www.scene.org/file.php?file=/demos/groups/farb-rausch/fr08_final.zip&fileinfo
I think this demo was like 15 minutes or something, dont recall... great music, gfx but sadly for windows though.. I also really like the candytron demo by the same group.
url for the candytron one: http://www.scene.org/file.php?id=192412 (http://www.scene.org/file.php?id=192412)

Indeed pretty damn impressive! Specialy when you consider how old the hardware are :-o

yeah that farbush (PC) intro won over us at TP2001 , we had the 68k aga production
Dolphins Dream 64kb intro (http://home.broadpark.no/~taksnes/products/dd.html)
Its a 68k aga production and its 64kb..
To All who doesnt have the hw to show the intro, view the avi file :)

@lempkee
What resolution do you use in Dolphin's Dream?
I downloaded the DivX and I can't believe it's AGA!
What CPU was used for the recorded version? 060@66MHz?

I hope to get a CyberstormPPC soon for my miggy :-)
I have tried Planet Potion in my Peggy and it doesn't work :-(
Maybe it's Voodoo3's fault?

carls: The Released intro (from tp2001) is lowres and AGA only , later we released an fix version for aga and rtg but also still in Lowres , later on we started to work on a ppc version .... and maybe soon a warp3d version, time will tell.
anyway the XDIV was made to show how it was supposed to look like , everything is exactly the same as in the aga lowres version but we wanted to show it to all in highres.
to view the AGA version video , check
AGA mpeg (http://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/pix/mpg/Push-DD.mpg) , some errors in that though but heh best i could dig up atm :)
if you download the intro (64kb) (just do an dd,exe ?)
then you can RENDER the frames manually if you like and put it together as an anim, but be prepared to wait some hours :)
anyway, to your question...yes its aga and its 68k. , also unlike mental this intro uses 1x1 so the speed of the production is slower , mental was designed to run in 25fps while dolphins dream was designed to run in "whats possible :D" , and
several tests have shown: 030 50mhz 3 FPS , 040 40mhz at 5fps , 060 50 at 8 fps and 66mhz at 12fps and 80mhz 060 at 18-21 fps.
so basically it works on almost any aga amiga but heh i would rather not try to..., 060 is really minimum if u ask me but by all means its viewable and still amazing even on a 040 25.
As an important note, remeber its realtime and its AGA and 68k but most of all its a 64kb INTRO, and it has a plot/story and its truecolor (aga or rtg) and has 16bit audio (paula only).

crumb: none of the POTION productions work with Voodoo cards, also its a pain in the arse to get to work on a BVISION or Cvision because of the lame fact that it opens the screen mode that you use for workbench when starting it , for such an impressive(?) (and design less?) production as option and planet potion i find it really weird, sloppy code work for the startupcode and by the looks of it ...it will never be fixed ;(
additional note is that the Video is recorded from the 120kb big EXE (of both (maybe all 3? potion intros) , but then again it shows what was done just a bit faster, so all in all cool stuff but a damn sloppy startup.s code;(

Do you know if Radeons will be able to do 15bit 3D modes? It's a pity to be restricted to CVisionPPC...
-
crumb: potion productions for ppc and rtg (the ones out) will only work on bvision and CVision...
hopefully they will fix it for radeons and voodoo3 , most of all a CGX - P96 api would have been cool ...even if the exe was 256kb or whatever, just so we could run it atleast...
sad sad sad
