.. Tried installing a Vlab(non-motion) card in a 4000D with a Fastlane card stuff full of memory, and a Cybervision 64.. and it seems the Amiga didnt like this..as the machine would not boot and the early startup menu showed no expansions cards being present.
I was a bit bummed.. Any Retina Z3 cards out there lol..

ive heard cv64 doesnt respect official zorro timings for better performance so this might be a suspect. ive never had zorro issues in my life. so cannot help you otherwise

Have both a cv64 and retina z3. Never had issues in my 3k's with either (both buster 11).
Had also heard cv weren't 100% z3 compatible...
Prefer the z3, if you can find one you won't be disappointed.
Good luck!
p.s. I would almost sell you my Z3 for what I paid for it ($750.00 USD in 90's!).

Do you have a Vlab card installed as well?
