Title: where can I find these 68k libraries?
Post by: Templario on December 04, 2010, 11:07:23 PM
I need these 68k libraries for my WinUAE running OS3.9 with AfA_OS:
maextrix V6 and openpci version 1, every time that I start my UAE session open one requester asking these libraries.
I searched in Aminet but nothing some idea?

Thank you, but I have one doubt, the maextrix, is the library, one program, or when you run the installer copy and rename this "The Maestrix" file as .library, because I did't download it for this reason.

Sorry, I couldn't make sense of this post.

The Maestrix is a small tool that provides a fake maestix.library implementation on top of AHI thus enabling applications that had direct support for the Maestro 16-bit sound card, such as OctaMED SoundStudio, to use AHI instead,

Trying OpenPCI on WinUAE is just nonsense. WinUAE does not emulate any PCI board. The same is true for the Maestrix driver, especially if you try to redirect Maestrix calls to AHI which will cause an infinite loop.

You should rather remove PCI and Maestrix drivers from Devs/Audiomodes and Devs/AHI. Only keep those drivers in there for which you have hardware, i.e. UAE and Paula. You might even omit Paula because UAE has much better quality (accesses the PC sound card directly rather than emulating 8bit sound).

I'll try it, I have this problems since I installed the last AfA_OS patch, before I don't have this problem, that is is very troublesome, when I start my WinUAE session and quickly open these message windows, it is very irritant.
Thank you for your suggestion.

I have this problem in my WinUAE and still I don't get correct, I asked and spoke about this strange request in other forum and I hadn't much help, now yes, and this is the reason of this thread and post, because the forums I think that are to help among all us with our Amiga problems and doubts not only to get points. And I'm an educated person that give the thanks for the help, not only....... be angry.
