Colour me stupid, but how in the name of God am I supposed to install the Update 1.3 on e-uae?
The online help is such a mess I can't figure it out.
The archivew just has an .HDF file but when I add it to my .uaerc it doesn't appear on the emulated Amiga as a hard disk.
What happened to nice simple LHA files? :/

There used to be instructions for previous updates. It was basically downloading the file, which was a HDD image, mounting it and running some binary from within, while on AmigaSYS run.
Now tell me how to update AmigaSYS from Amiga Future 2010 :-)

The instructions say "Add the HDF to .uaerc"
No instructions as to HOW one is supposed to do this.
With WinUAE it's a matter of just click on a few buttons but e-uae has the worst GUI I've ever had the misfortune to use and won't let me add a HDF to the config.
Adding it manually as so doesn't seem to work. :/
hardfile2=rw,DH0:$(FILE_PATH)/amiga/AmigaSYS/AmigaSYS/AmigaSYS4E-UAE.hdf,32,1,2,512,0,

Why not just run WinUAE under wine and copy the contents of the HDF to a regular host directory based disk?
Or is this on a non x86 platform?

Because for some unknown reason WinUAE 2.3.0 (32bit) under Wine1.3 on 64-bit Ubuntu is really slow. (Around 2 or 3 fps!)

Is it just the display update that sucks? If so, you should still be able to perform the extraction of the contents.

No probs, I fixed the slowness prob with wine and decided on a plain 3.1 install instead.
