Trevor Dickinson recently attended a Amiga users group in some obscure place east of the mainland coming close to the end of the world. I wonder what the chances are of getting him to come to Sydney for the same thing? Maybe if we want him to come we should start making some noise. :hammer::hammer::hammer::hammer::hammer:

Erm, Kesa, you might want to edit your post as you've put an image link to a file on your windows desktop...

Oh come on. That picture is Photoshopped anyway.
There's an X1000 motherboard "pictured" in the hand of the guy on the left.
This is about as realistuc as those faked "moon landing" photos. ;)

Kevin? Loved you in Footloose, what brings you to OZ?

I get a free return trip on the train anywhere in NSW each year and I haven't used it up this year yet, but I'd definitely use it to get down to Sydney for a big Amiga meet.

What purpose would it serve if he did come here to Aus.? Sure, he's invested in the X1000, but I really dont see what would be interesting about getting him to Australia. He's just a guy who opened his bankbook to help develop the X1000. Good on him and all that, but it'd hardly make for an interesting visit. What do you expect him to say/do that'd be even remotely interesting ?,.... "err, so here we have the X1000, you all know about it by now,... it's pretty much a standard aging motherboard with a different cpu and a gimmick". Not exactly interesting stuff.
