WinRAR is the best program I've used on the PC to extract LhA. It's shareware, however.

There's plenty of command-line LhA commands if you want to get your hands dirty. I used to use LhaNT, have a look for that on the web :-)

You can find WinRAR at http://www.rarlab.com (http://www.rarlab.com)

...Uh, actually just realised WinRAR will only extract LhA.

I'd say for PC to Amiga transfer, use ZIP on the PC and UnZIP (http://www.aminet.net/aminet.cgi?string=.zip+archive+extracter) on the Amiga.

I use Ultimate ZIP (http://www.ultimatezip.com/) for LHAs and other stuff from windoze - Freeware (although there's an advert when you start it).  It was recommended by someone else here, but I cannot remember who

---edit---

Looking through the archives, Vincent, amigau and trgse have all had a good thing to say about it :-D

I also recommend UltimateZip. Far better than WinZIP.

Yup, when I first found out about it I had a look.  After about 10 mins it had replaced WinZip totally :-D

It's a lot easier to use and you don't need any outside exe's to use other formats like lha, arj or arc.

UltimateZip can handle 30 different formats too :-D
