How would you go about making an Amiga that would just boot up to a menu of games (maybe WHDload style)? Kinda like the way MAME machines are setup.

You'd write a script for WHDLoad or whatever (a frontend as they call it) and then edit your sys:s/startup-sequence or user-startup file pointing to your frontend so that it'd load a menu of all the games upon startup.
...already been done IIRC. Might be on Aminet in fact. Sho' nuff, here's one:

...cool idea btw. I've always wanted to do something similar and still may. I have a couple of stripped out arcade cabs sitting around doing nothing. As well as a couple of Amiga mainboards w/ hard cards, etc. Would be extremely easy to "build" an Amiga arcade system :)

Ah I figured it had been solved. Thanks 2600. Now I just need a A600...
Hmm, I can see it. I'm gonna route the JOYs to the front...

Oh the easiest ports to re-locate, just need ribbon cable and ICD 9 crimp connectors:

Done it that way many a time.

Cool! Be sure to post some pics of your project when you're done. No need to limit yourself to an A600 mobo though. Be easier to find an A500 or A1200. Shit, I have an A500 mobo nailed to the wall of my computer room, but has a video problem. lol
