So we have a thread about what amiga's you own. What about the ones you still want?
My list is:
A 500, 1 MB RAM and no other expansions.
A second, somewhat expanded 1200 for link games
Some towered model
-
Would love to get a 4000T, have seen a few around but they were out of my price range so it may always be the one I'd love to have! :(

yeah, those are some sexy beasts but waaay outside my hobby price range right now sadly
-
Already had them all, except for the super-rare prototype stuff.
-
I don't have the space at the moment for all, but eventually would like the X1000, A3000T, A1000, CDTV and bank loan :)
-
Hopefully an X1000 if it ever appears and is good enough to class as an Amiga... ;)
-
Same as Franko, X1000 as soon as it is available.
-
Wouldn't mind getting another CD32 (only this time with an 030 expansion board), or better yet, MinimigAGA.
Physical space (not to mention cash) is the limiting factor for me atm.
-
I wanna Natami!!!! :)
-
I have on my list:
A3000
A3000T
CDTV
"Cash waiting" :-)
I mean that - especially for an A3000 with '060.
-
A4000T, A3000T, SX2 for the CD32, A500+ (with GVP 030), and maybe just maybe a A600
-
I'm waiting for a Natami.
Using Amiga forvever/AROS for now
With my new A-eon keyboard and mouse
-
I'm still on the look put for classic stuff, but I won't buy unless the price is reasonable.
An A2000 would be nice, but I've always thought the A600 was really cute.
I'd like to get an FPGA clone at some point as well.
-
Yeah, always on the lookout for these Amiga goodies:
Phoenix replacement mobo (old or NEW completed GB model) for A1000
Rejuvenator for A1000
...maybe a CD32 if the right deal came along.
...and maybe an X1000 if the initial price projections were way off and this thing is priced within a reasonably logical tolerance. $2.5k-$3k is neither reasonable OR logical.
-
I'm still looking for these:
Amiga 3000T & Amiga 500 plus,
i think I have everything else :P
X1000? I don't think so, very nice but way out of my pocket atm.
Cheers,
Dragster

I wanna Natami!!!! :)
Ditto. I hope it happens.
-
But for the price projections, I'm interested in the X1000.
-
Classic Amiga's:
- A3000
- A3000T
- A4000T
Add on hardware:
- Fastlane Z3
- Cybervision 64/3D
- Cyberstorm PPC 060/233
- Blizzard PPC 060 / (PPC speed 200 or above)
- Blizzard 2060
Future Amiga compatibles:
- Natami
-
I would like an A4000 CSPPC!
Perhaps an A3000T.
-
Hmmm,
I'd have to say, someday I want an A3000... I just always liked the looks of the girl... :)
I'd like to replace the (heavily-expanded) A500 and A600 I used to have. (Well, the 600 was technically my dad's, but...)
I'm also fond of the CDTV's looks... not sure how 'practical' it would be.... It would be kinda cool to set up a 'state-of-the-art' 1991 HiFi system around one. :afro:
Hmmm, A3000UX.....
A Lynx Developers' Kit....
Mad Dog McRee machine....
That's all...
-
I think I'd feel that I have everything I wanted if I got a CD32 and a A600 with an 030 in it.
Those with my A4000T would give me a nice rounded setup IMHO.
-
Natami or fpga arcade, depending on price...wallet...etc. :)
-
Minimig in a tablet style device :)
-
I've been tempted to hunt down a 600 since they look cute, but it wouldn't really give me anything new, compared to a 500
-
A4000T It is still my wet dream...
-
The 4000T repeatdly mentioned sounds about ideal, but since price is important I'll wait with the others hoping Thomas finishes the Natami.
-
I want a X1000
-
If the Natami ends up being reality, I'll definately be wanting one.
Did they ever publish an expected final price ?
-
Oh, well what a good question we have here, AGAIN!
Nevermind. I would LOVE to own A500, the first revision of that fabulous machine including original packaging and stuff. I actually have one w/commodore function keyboard and embedded commodore logo, BUT that puppy have been opened and warranty stickers are shot. So motherboard isn't original, even it is rev5. and ROM is 1.2...
Ah, and while we are at dreamin', I wold love to purchase A1000 w/original packaging, and I think early model wouldn't hurt either. Jay Miner and others' signature in that case would look COOL! I mean --->

Oh, and NATAMI, if it ever get completed!
-
A3000T/UX and a Draco + Alpha Co-procesor.
As for stuff that never saw offical release, then I'd love to get my grubby mitts on an A3000+ and a Phase 5 AMIRAGEK2 if are prototypes hiding in someone's basement.

The UX is nothing more than a standard A3000 running Amiga Unix, which is entirely done by the Commodore A2630 board and then this being intergrated on that A3000 board.
If you hold down the mouse buttons just like early startup and you have this card in the A2000 you will see it will able to start in 68000 mode or 020/030 (A2620/2630) and Amiga Unix.
I'd like to have the A3400, Tahoe recently showed me one, it just looks like a crossover from A3000 to A4000.
-
Only a Commodore A4000T could rejuvinate my interest in Amigas at the minute.
I want IDE and SCSI :-(
-
I would like a nice NTSC A600... ever since they appeared. I know it's not a popular model but I always liked it :)

Efren

Natami FTW!

The Escom 4000Ts have IDE and SCSI too!

And why IDE and SCSI ?
I would disable the IDE right away with a good SCSI controller.
Certainly if you fit a Cyberstorm in the 4000T, nothing like a few 10K disks and DVD/CDROM drive.
But the 4000T is always hard to find, certainly in most cases the door is missing or damaged.
-
an A2000, A3000 and an A600, and eventually an A4000 and then my classic Amiga collection will be complete and I'll rule the world!
mwhuhahahahahaha!
-
I'd accept any of:
Index Information Access
Commodore A3500
Commodore AA3000/A3000+
I've owned all production Amigas except the CDTV and A4000T..
-

You've seen one live?
-
I like my 3000 as it is - but since it's very crammed inside, a 3000T would be a nice upgrade.
-
You've seen one live?
Well maybe at the next meeting he could bring it and then we could show it running, I don't know if it ran, but I can ask.

I'd love to get my hands on an A4000T fully functional with VGA card and flicker fixer. It won't happen though and if it does, the board will just die on me in a couple weeks.

Specially now that Individual Computers is coming out with a new A600/030 accelerator card and two A1200/030 accelerator cards.
Jens borrowed my NTSC A600 to demo his accelerator at the recent AmiWest show and it looked quite nice. I am now glad I did NOT sell my A600 a couple months ago. It is a nice smaller replacement for any A500 that comes with a PCMCIA slot and a standard IDE controller inside instead of having to add one, like the A500 requires.
The A600 with an ECS Indivision and the new 030 accelerator, Subway USB controller, IDE to Compact Flash adapter & 4gb card, and wireless WiFi PCMCIA card makes for a compact and capable little Classic Amiga to run WHDLoad and most other Classic games and applications.
-
I was shy of saying X1000, because AmigaOne is not considered Amiga by many. But since others daid it before:
I don“t plan to buy any additional Amiga, except maybe the AmigaOne X1000. This may sound strange to some, since I never owned an AGA-machine. But I think no classic box would take me far beyond what my Amiga 3000 can do.
-
Oh - almost forgot. Looking for a pair of Amiga 10 speakers... anyone have a pair CIB by chance?
You guys talking about monitors "blowing up"... I'm sure they could have been repaired :)
I've got a CEI 1962 that still works fine and looks like new. :hammer:
-

That reminds me, my Commodore 1960 Multisync blew up over 10 yrs ago.
I loved that beautiful work of engineering, it could handle any PAL or VGA signal thrown at it.
I'd love to own one again.
-
That reminds me, my Commodore 1960 Multisync blew up over 10 yrs ago.
My 1960 blew up too. And my 1950 blew up. They each only lasted 6 years or less. Yet all my 1084S monitors still work to this day, 15+ years later.
-
Wouldn't mind an A3000 for the styling. Other than that think I am happy with what I have model wise, unless a cheap A2000 1mb chip ram mobo turns up on scumbay.
What I would dearly like is an ICD Ad-IDE internal hard disk adaptor to fit in my A1000 and a nice CSL B5000 030 accelerator with 4mb or 8mb 32bit fast ram module too. OR a 14mhz 68000 accelerator.
There used to be these ATX PC tower/mini tower cases that looked 95% like the OTT sized A4000 case, if I find one of them again I will probably tower up my A1200 and get an adaptor to use a spare A2000 keyboard with it or something.

Save2600; you want a set of A10 speakers? Really? Sure, it's a nice item for an Amiga fanatic, but by all accounts they sounded Terrible....
I suppose you could use the speaker housings, and put in decent speakers... :hammer:
As for monitors, I really never had one fail on me.. so I can't say. I will say that every TV that I ever had that broke on me, I was able to get repaired.
After thinking about it, I'd really like an upgraded A1000...
-
Hmm, maybe a NTSC A600 mother board. I'd like to make a machine for classic games. I would make a "console" machine out of it and hook it up to my big LCD TV in the family room. Envision a mini G1200 spray painted flat black.
And an apartment to go with it after my wife kicks me out.
That or the much awaited AGA minimig thing.
-

Yeah, just for the sake of collecting I'd like 'em. The 1962 monitor I have has no built-in speakers, so was thinking that would make a good match up. I wasn't even aware Amiga had marketed their own external speakers until recently, so the "newness" of that revelation seems kinda cool to me.
And yeah, I know what you mean about wanting a nice upgraded A1000 setup. Oh wait, this one's mine, all mine :) lmao
-
I've used or owned at one point in time every model except the A1000 and CDTV.
I've owned an A500, A2000, and A1200.
I'd like to be able to afford something modern that run AOS 4.
-

Sorry about your first A4000(D). Good thing Commordores Gold service was amazingly fast.
-
The Escom 4000Ts have IDE and SCSI too!
yes and come complete with a shite recycled pc case.
-

its just the costs of SCSI drives are exceptionaly higher than their IDE counterparts
-
Pretty much just NatAmi or some other upgraded 68k Amiga clone. I already have a nice 2500 setup with some room left to upgrade, if I feel the need, and the high-power stuff (4000 & PPC hardware) doesn't really hold any interest for me. I would like to see clone hardware in a laptop or netbook form factor, but until then, I can get a workable framerate in UAE on my Eee ;)
