Pulled my A4000 out of the closet tonight. It worked great when I put it away a couple years ago. What I get now is "ram disk full" during boot. Can't load WB image or sound file. More "ram disk full" and then it boots to a blank WB screen. It has a title bar and that is it. Any ideas what to look for?

Lack of FAST RAM.
Can be caused by several things but first please make sure that you did not move jumper J852 from its original position:
1) your FAST RAM SIMM's are not present in FAST RAM sockets
2) bad solder somwhere
3) battery started to leak causing cooper tracks corrosion (VERY dangerous)

Those plastic simm sockets tend to come lose or crack too.
Carefully reseat them and try again.
Or if all your RAM is on a CPU card, reseat those.
