Title: Looking for a reasonably cheap 1200 030 card
Post by: runequester on October 22, 2010, 07:20:48 PM
The card I have currently in my 1200 is an 030 / 25 with 8 megs of RAM.
I am looking for an 030 card with a bit more oomph, 40 or 50 mhz with some more RAM. (16 at least, 32 would be nice)

Anyone got something they are willing to part with in the next few weeks, without costing a million ?

I believe Jens is going to be reseasing 2 cards in the not too distant future. I can't remember the exact specs but they were 030's I believe with about 64 meg. 200 Euros is also sticking in my head for the dearer version.

For XMAs there will be a 28 MHz/64MB version for about 100 EUR. The card should be pretty fast, because the RAM is fast. Jens is considering a 56 MHz version later on, that one woul dbe 200 EUR sinc higher clocked 030ies are rather expensive. Will probably depend on success of the 28 MHz version.
