Hi all,
I just got my second Deneb card and installed it into my A4000D. Now, the middle USB port (the one closest to the physical internal USB port) doesn't work. I have already tried to swap the leads with the other port, the lead is fine, just the port won't do anything.
Poseidon, Trident, etc. they all show everything OK.
Any tips and things to check before I start suspecting the hardware is broken? :(

Hardware is broken. :(
I've killed one of USB port on my Deneb by static discharge too...

Wait a second, why did you install a second card? Wouldn't USB HUB do the same job?
*EDIT*
Oh right 2nd Amiga of course. I skipped some words while reading.

And what about the warranty (2 years)? Is it an used (second hand) DENEB card?
@Piru: I suppose he have one DENEB on each A4000D and not 2 DENEB on one AMIGA :)

I got a second Deneb for my second Amiga ;-)
Just to make sure the second Amiga is not b0rked I unplugged the Deneb from my 'working' Amiga and put the new Deneb in. Flashed the Poseidon config / setup and it should be an identical setup.
Thanks for the tips, I'll get in touch with the store to see if they can do anything for me...

It's such a common problem; Michael should have used a single, keyed header for both ports. Keyless Zorro slots don't help either....
Does the warranty cover it? I think there's at least two warnings in the manual.

Don't know if the warranty covers it, I assume not. I'm quite certain that I took every reasonable precaution on the installation but I will never know if it came with a defective port or if it was because of my doing.
Even though I should be happy the other port works it still sucks.

I've got the identical problem.
I know that I reversed one plug, but I'm not 100% certain that I used that plug before discovering it, I just assume it was my fault.
Regardless, I'm in the same boat and using a USB hub now.
