The full version of long lost Palace Software game Hostile Breed (http://hol.abime.net/739) has been located and released by Amiga Games That Weren't:
http://agtw.abime.net/games/view/hostilebreed
Hostile Breed was widely reviewed in the various Amiga magazines but disappeared when Palace went under.
aGTW features the full three disk game in ADF and IPF format as well as interviews with artist Joe Walker and programmer Rob Stevens. A manual has been created for the game so please report any errors or suggest addenda.

Awesome and Thank You! I'm warming up the Amiga for a go at it! :)
-
Great news!! Wonder how many other games are still out there.........

Ah, cool, I remember this from magazines of the time. I remember thinking the graphics look nice at the time, but I guess my tastes have changed 'cos now I think it looks ugly (not just 'cos of the look of modern games, I still think some amiga games look nice). That said though, I always get a bit excited when agtw (Or anyone else) manage to track down commercial amiga stuff assumed lost, and this is no excpetion :)

Sweet. A "new" amiga game. I'll boot this one up on the 1200 tonight
-
Needs a crack intro and to be an ADF ;)
-
Whdload slave would be good also

Just started writing one for it about 2 hours ago, hopefully it'll be finished in the next couple of days... :)

Anybody managed to get this game to work from floppy yet, I've tried it on a couple of different Amigas but it keeps crashing on the boot disk... :(
The WHDLoad slave Im working on right now for it, is proving a wee bit tricky... :(
-
Abaddon is also working on a WHDLoad install for it:

Does the problem seem to be when you copy the ADF images to floppies and try and boot from them? Has anyone had success using the ADFs directly on WinUAE or a Minimig?

Works fine on WinUAE here.

Works fine on WinUAE here.
Great. It should work on my Minimig then (it isn't AGA is it?). I'll test it on my A4000 too.

Got it working, sort of... :)
I had to disable my Blizzard060 board (holding down 2 on bootup) but on the 060 it crashes when you insert disk1 after the boot disk. My miggy with an 030 turned out to be the floppy drive needing a bit of clean as I very rarely use floppies these days.
The WHDload slave for it should be easy enough now that I know it's working, but I've got quite a number of other projects on the go just now, so it might not be ready until about Sunday...

Works very nice in WinUAE. Tough game.
However, when it crashes, it makes WinUAE crash too.
