Title: Diskimage NDOS problem
Post by: koshman on October 05, 2010, 08:04:52 PM
I would like to use the Diskimage utility to mount adf images as virtual floppies. I installed it according to the readme and it works - the DI0: device is mounted and I can load adfs to it. But any adf image I load shows up as NDOS even those I know for sure are WB friendly (even WB 3.1 disks).

Any ideas what could be the problem?
Thanks.

The "DI0:" device is for PC disk images.  Use "DI2:" or "DI3:" instead.

Thanks, I'll try that.

EDIT: Great, it works! Thanks a lot. Just one small issue - when I try to mount any of the Amiga format devices - DI2, 3, 4 - I get a message "Bootblocks xxx is not a valid entry" (xxx being the line and column). It works when I comment this line out in the device file, I don't know if it's important or not...

It isn't important at all.  OS 3.1 doesn't use the BootBlocks keyword.  It was introduced with OS 3.5.
