Does anyone know if there will be a new indivision batch? or maybe a revised indivision?
-
What's wrong with the current ones?

What's wrong with the current ones?
They are no longer available for the A1200.
-
They are no longer available for the A1200.
And they don't fit on some A1200 boards unless you've got a grinding tool and are willing to gamble your Indivision by trying to shave the connector so it fits. Hopefully a new run will fix this.
-
I believe they already fixed that with the last revision.
-
if you are very skilled you can fix the problem yourself.
1. change the onboard A1200 motherboard chip.
2. change the connector on the indivision.
expert recommended for above fix.
**all modifcation at your own risk**

No where has the A4000 version in stock either. Amiga Kit no longer lists them. Does anyone know what is happening with these?
-
Jens from individual, as well as Matthew from Amigakit will be at Amiwest this month. I will make it a point to ask them both about what is going on and report back. Last I heard there will be a new batch but no timetable for them.
-
SoftHut had the 4000 version a few days ago.
-
The last I knew from Amigakit about it for the A1200 around one month ago was something like "will be available before Christmas", and some time ago, from Vesalia that it was worthwhile the waiting...
Well, what's true it was expected to be for sale on september.

Hi, saw this thread earlier when searching myself.
Jens is prioritising new accelerators at the mo:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=708066
Those are due for mid November, the only comment on the Indis has been "later than that" (one production run at a time) so.. no breath holdage recommended. Doesn't sound like it's discontinued anyway (which I was starting to wonder) just not much of a priority at the moment.
-
I really want to buy one of these for my 1200. I hope they become available soon. This 1084 is killing my eyes. If anyone has one they don't want pm me, or someone please let us all know when amigakit will have them again...

I've seen this in Amigaworld.net:

BTW, which are those new accelerators? I could put one in my -made of spare parts- new A1200...
-
With any luck the new model will also fit the A4000T.

I'm reading the EAB forum about the Individual Computers new accelerators to be for sale on december: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=55059
A1200: 56 Mhz, 64 MB RAM, about 199 Euro
A1200: 28 Mhz, 64 MB RAM, about 99 Euro
A600: 25 Mhz, 32 MB RAM
How can it be I haven't hear something so good here at Amiga.org?
It's really good news!
-
Because this forum sometimes is too ng.
-
Yes, I've seen that... episodies like in the Excitement about Natami Thread.
But let me see: We have the NatAmi project, the Individual Computers new accelerators and the new Indivisions Aga coming soon, the new HxC floppy emulator, the Minimig with Aga... shoudn't we be positive?
-
Enought positive but some software/games will be good too, sometimes i see remakes like shadow of the beast for OS4 thinking on the "amiga" x1000, these remake shold be make for the classics not for the ng.
-
Sorry for my bad english. Ng is "negative" or "next generation"?
(for the last 2 post)
-
If you've paid attention, you'd see that it has been written about here as well. :)
In fact, it's still on the top of the hardware news forum (http://amiga.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39), three pages worth of it.
-
To tell the truth I never have opened that part. I supossed all the hardware threads were here. I don't like much dispersion in forums...
Thanks for the info. Seeing it is like discovering a hidden door behind a closet in your house and inside a large room...
-
I supossed all the hardware threads were here.
They were. Notice how the headline says "Recent Threads"? That's what they were when they were listed under the said headline.
-
Well, i must have missed them. I don't live "here"...
Only meaned it was good news and I haven't noticed it, but thanks for helping me moving the closet, it was heavy!
-

ng is next generation, dont worry this forum is about amiga not about english language.
You can use the search next time and posting the news if dont exist here.
-
Thanks, BTW, Clint Eastwood is the greatest!
-
Ok, but to have things clear:
1) Individual Computers are working only on the accelerators.
2) They will be for sale (with luck) on december.
So when will they return with the stopped new Indivision Aga? And for sale? ... June?
-
indivision when Jens want, amiga world runs in this way at this times, amiga hardware these days is in part small bussiness and like a gift.
-
I get the impression there will be more made, but yeah it's pretty much one guy doing all this I think so it's whenever he feels like it. Next year sometime I guess - until then we either wait or get one at a hiked up "Rare" price from one of the 'Bays.
-
Jens is planning a new run for A1200 and A4000T models. An A4000/CD32 will be a lot later.
-
any news about the clone-A ? what is going out with that machine ??
thanks

In this thread there is more information about the new accelerators and the new Indivision Batch:

Hey guys,
sorry for this slightly off topic post, but I heard that the Indivision enabled to display some scanlines. Did any of you try that ? Are there some pictures available ?
I wonder if this effect can be achieved (I guess not) : http://mahen.free.fr/temp/toki-scanlines-tvshaders.png
This is MAME under Linux with a "scanlines" pixel shader effect mimicing old CRT displays. Sorry for the bad grab made in a hurry. (mouse cursor + tearing ;)
Cheers !

Here is a close up of my indivision AGA using scanlines in Banshee AGA on an LCD screen.

ddniUK : looks pretty good, thanks !

Indivisions will be available after Christmas. Individual Computers are very busy manufacturing these accelerator cards at the moment.
This is the last information I got from Amigakit in another forum yesterday. I think this time it's true and we'll have them after Christmas.
Edit:
This is from today, 20/11/10
It'll be next year.
