Title: A4000T no ide
Post by: desantii on September 23, 2010, 02:16:47 AM
My 4000T project had been working fine. Was trying out some IDE - CF adapters and now the machine does not boot. Boots fine from floppy but the IDE seems to be dead, no boot. If I do boot from floppy can't see the IDE drives eithers

Any thoughts?

thanks

Update, boots fine from SCSI.

When cold, takes one or two cycles (on/off) until it boots. Then boots fine(W/ SCSi)

Using a Cyberstorm PPC/mk3?
Check that you do not have the NoIDE patch (or whatever it's called) activated in the early boot menu.

Using Blizkick?
Check that you don't have the NoIDE module (or whatever it is called) installed.

Aside form that, nothing springs to mind at the moment.

Best of luck
