Hello!
I've got a Oktagon SCSI (or smthng. similar) controller in my A4000. external connector is 25pin d-sub female.
Question: can I use this to connect to external cases with 50pin SCSI connectors? The cases have 50pin internal and external centronics interfaces.
Regards
jed

Yes you can.
Please refer to manual to de-activate onboard termination and to activate termination in external device.
And you need proper SCSI cable of course.

Ok, thx
To be sure:
I just would need this (http://cgi.ebay.de/SCSI-Kabel-I-25-50pol-Centronics-25pol-0-9m-/110449657728?pt=DE_Technik_Computerzubeh%C3%B6r_Kabel_Adapter&hash=item19b7500780) to get amiga to the cases?
And then centronics -> centronics (http://cgi.ebay.de/SCSI-Kabel-50-POLIG-EXTERN-CENTRONICS-0-6-m-/150404804102?pt=DE_Technik_Computerzubeh%C3%B6r_Kabel_Adapter&hash=item2304d32e06) to go to next case(s) and the last one I would need an external terminator?

Another quick question:
There are many 80pin SCSI HDDs here on ebay.
There are adapters 80pin -> 68pin/50pin.
What do i need for the 80pin exactly? M/F?? For 50pin i need M, as I plug the ribbon cable in there.
So two answers:
What 80pin M/F? does 80pin HDD have and what connector would I need therefore? M/F?
THX!!! :hammer:
