I just bought this ntsc CD32 but only have one title (chaos engine) that's ntsc. I do have a few other titles but they wont display and I'm assuming it's because they are pal. Will I have to connect it to a monitor to get them to display. How do you put the CD32 into pal display mode? The tv it's connected to is a brand new magnavox flat screen, are these new tv's able to display pal? Thanks.

Did you try connecting a mouse and reseting with both buttons pushed to go into early startup where u can switch from NTSC to PAL ?
-
im afraid that you have to use ntsc games, there are some pal games that dont work on ntsc cd32, no matter what you do

No I hadn't tried that yet, I thought there might be a way to do it with the controller but I guess not. Well I'll try the mouse and go from there. Thanks.

Will the Indivision fix this problem?

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of the CD32! First things first... Your CD32 will only display in NTSC on your fancy new TV. Period. Boot it in PAL with the mouse button trick and the screen will "roll" or simply not display at all on TV sets intended for use in the USA.
What others are saying is also true. Even when booted in PAL mode, the NTSC systems will not play every game correctly. For a while I owned both an NTSC CD32 and my PAL unit and about half of the games I attempted to load on the NTSC CD32 had issues. Your mileage may vary.
What I ended up doing was importing a PAL CD32 from Amigakit and attaching it to what is called a "Multisystem" TV. for us in the states, these were usually purchased by our service men and women so they could buy one TV and use it at whatever base they were stationed at. I found a used one on Craigslist for $40 and I was all set.
