Hey folks.
I'm working on a little personal project and have hit some snags and looking for more info on this...
I installed the Live CD image from Amiga Forever 2010 on a 8GB flash/thumb drive that I want one of my machines to boot from. It gets to the grub loader, I tell it KX Light and then a Kernal Panic
"Kernal panic - not syning: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)"
Now I removed the Windows entry in the menu.lst file for grub, because it had swapped the flash and the HD around with the dev names. hda1 was the installed HD and hda0 was the flash drive. That got it to boot as far as the splash screen where I got the Kernal panic you see above.
I also removed the listing for hda1 in the device map file for grub.
This is as far as I am right now. Still getting the panic, and looking for any advice on solving this one.

It sounds to me like the Linux Kernal doesn't have the USB support compiled into it.
