Having recently re-acquired my old A1200 again I found that my entire mod collection was wiped by a hard disk failure (the disk was 15 years old). I don't want to trawl through the drivel on Aminet's (and the web in general) 1000s of mod file and hours of listening so I'm looking for top 100 type protracker only compatible mod tracks in handy download size of say 100-300 megs.
Does anybody know of such an online archive or set of archive files this size?

Not intended as a top 100, but here is the first 100 mods (some of my all time favs) i uploaded to my site!
1-100 mods.zip (http://modp3.mikendezign.com/files/archives/ModP3%20Mods%20Archive%20%5B1-100%5D.zip)

There is a real gap as far as simple websites supporting Amiga only mods for games go, Exotica has loads of weird formats to download but very few standard mods still kicking around. Even games that are supposedly finished and uploaded have missing tracks.
Maybe someone should start a mod request thread where we can all share what we have. I know a lot of mods only available as custom now were available as mod rips in the past on my A2000 hard drive.
Mods anthology is a great place to start for demo tunes though, and it's not that large a download really.

Amiga Games Music, Gorilla Music (http://guildserver.co.uk/kgwhd/gorillamusic/)

I had a quick look on there but the playlists that were available didn't seem to stand out (i.e. no top 100 rated or similar). The mods I'm interested in would have been primarily from floppy coverdisks in the 90s (i.e. with protracker/octamed or just added free) as that is where I built my collection from.
I recognised some of the Jester tunes on the set mihcael recommended. There were also tunes like "Anarchy for the UK", "Mod the Moebius", "Vampire" and Axelf and so on that I also remember (got those).

There is a favourites folder with some 1000 tunes in various formats on the ftp (615 actual 'mods'). You're right there are not that many playlists, but the chipfest one for example has a good selection of chiptunes. Modland has some 75793 mods (protracker/noisetracker etc) currently.

Hmmm I appear to have killed the FTP whilst accessing http://ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/favourites/Protracker/ with Site Explorer on Freedownload Manager... I didn't even get a response for the directory listing :(
EDIT: Tried again now it's back up, same thing. Guess I'll have to download them one at a time through the browser (when it's back).
EDIT2: Looks as though it thought I was mirroring it. Sorted now.

modules.pl (http://www.modules.pl/) is an awesome site and they have a top ten and favourite links. All musics are downloadable.

Also check the mirrors.txt in the root of the ftp. It lists some much faster mirrors than the main site. Might be easier.
