Title: Soldered Buster 9-now what?
Post by: CRL on August 24, 2010, 05:32:40 PM
Looking for some advice.  I just bought a Zorram card and a nice new Buster 11 to go with it (Amikit).  Good quick service and no misinformation.  My fault I didn't look first to see if my buster was socketed or not.  Not.  Pulling it out and putting in a socket looks like a good way to ruin a motherboard.

So, is there any work-around to use the memory with my buster-9?  Or am I just SOL?
Hopefully-
CRL

Try it, I'm sure I've seen some people say it works with Buster9.

Good Luck.

You can send A4000D mobo to service where Buster 9 will be un-soldered and socket will be soldered back. Or even you can solder Buster 11 directly to mobo. You will not replace it anyway.

I don't see why it would not work. What else do you have in your system?

With an A3640 ?

Rev 3.0 and 3.1 not working with Buster -11 and Zorram here !

You must upgrade to 3.2 !
