Hey guys
after over 3 years I dug out my trusty A1200 that I used as a webserver and guess what, it fired up first time!!!!
Check it out for 1 day only before I pack her away again
http://www.intuitionbase.homedns.org
Unfortunatly someones taken my old host of amiga.kicks-ass.org
I've updated it slightly with a guest book and a couple of things as its going to be my homepage..... (hence the weather widget).
Its succesfully running Samba, an FTPd, obviously a HTTPd and a Telnetd. Anyone want an account for any of them give me a shout.
Retro blast :-)
I hope Gareth Knight doesn't mind but I've decided to host a mirror site of http://www.amigahistory.co.uk on my A1200 webserver, it can be accessed at http://amiga1200.kicks-ass.org/amigahistory/

Cool! Love it!

When you click the link to see the guest book entries, you are immediately re-directed to gay.org :-/
-
So someone hacked it, hardly surprising.

Yeah, thanks to the n0b head who put that code into there... well done.
Kinda suprised it happens as soon as I post details of it to amiga.org.....
Still, thanks to all those who've left descent messages, those names I remember, a big hello, and to those I don't hello too :-)

Just got webalizer running on her now :-)

This is very nice indeed :)
I assume thttpd is a light httpd daemon? I half expected to see Apache running!

yeah its a very lightweight deamon that handles php. I did try the arexx servers but I found them to be too slow on the 030.

What apps did you use to start the server on your A1200? Is there a tutorial on how to do it?

Awesome.
