Title: Benefactor
Post by: TheGoose on August 16, 2010, 08:48:32 PM
I just discoverd Benefactor by

http://www.lemonamiga.com/?mainurl=http%3A//www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php%3Fid%3D149%26music_autostart%3Dtrue

It is pretty cool platformer, kinda hard but fun/rewarding to figure out a board. I had no manual, so I was shocked when I picked up the little red guy and tossed him up to the next level! How did I do that? And he is helping me!

Anybody play this one?

sure, we even made a contest on Insertdisk2.com for the best score !
it is a nice game but the sprites are really too small and you end up running from one end to the other (and back and forth) to solve some puzzles !
There is even an editor and additional levels on aminet (I guess).

Yes, it is in a smallish scale. The size reminds me of old Load Runner games. But this is like a bad ass load runner.

I loved this game when it first came out and IMHO, it rocks. I never had an issue with the tiny sprites or the pixel perfection required by some of the jumps.
With Ruff 'n' tumble, Putty squad and Flashback, Benefactor rates as one of my favorite platformers.
