Hey guys, help me out.
http://aminet.net/
The logo upper left corner, what is it? It looks like a speaker with some knobs on the top, but I am 100% it is meant to be Amiga related.
Help me solve a mystery haunting me for many years...

It's meant to look like this: (http://www.df.lth.se/~glue/AmiNet.gif).

Haha!
At first I thought you where joking, I am familiar with the classic logo but did not think for one second it was a modern version.
Took me a couple of visual inspections before I even saw the similarities, but there is some I notice.. at least lol.
How about a new logo, a logo competition or that you can draw up your own logo and it gets randomized as on os4depot.net? :)

Doesn't several different randomized logos sort of defeat the purpose of a logo?

Yeah, you are 100% right, how about changing the logo back to the old one?! :)

Thanks, but no thanks ;)
If somebody has suggestions for a new logo, feel free to post it here or send it to aminet@aminet.net. It should fit into the current grey/black/red color scheme though because that template is pretty much hardcoded to work with classic browsers.
Personally, I'm ok with the current one, but if something really cool shows up, why not? We're not going to implement logo rotation though - if there's more than one submission that we really like, we might do some competition or something.
