Hello.
I have tried Systempatch on my 030 1200 AGA setup, and it seems to be a great speed improvement in workbench operation.
However, i get a strange bug with rectangular color outline appearing around my newicons, although they are set to noborder transparent for a long time.
Browsing the internet, i hear of many other strange bugs, but no solution for my particular problem.
I only have FBlit as accelerating patch running, but it does not seem to be the problem.
Any idea for my problem or advices on the setup of this interesting patch?
Thanks for your help.

MCP fixed this same problem on my old GVP030 A1200 setup... :)

Ah, you have changed your avatar ;-)
MCP is already installed. An idea about a specific option of MCP? :-)

Not quite sure which one of these solved it (it was a long time ago I set up my A1200 with the 030)...
MCP Settings
NoIconBorder = OFF
QuickDraw = ON
QuickLayers = ON
SysiHack = ON
FBLIT Settings
QBSBlitpatch INSTALL = ON / ACTIVATED = ON
Sync = Inline
AddBobPatch INSTALL = OFF / ACTIVATED = OFF
RemIBobPatch INSTALL = OFF / ACTIVATED = OFF
I cant help thinking that there was something else I did. Something to with The order in which each program is launched. Pity you can't send attachments in the personal messages, then I could have sent you a copy of my StartUp-Sequence and FBlit.prefs + MCP Prefs for you to see for yourself. :(
It's bugging me now... but I'am sure there was something else I had to do...
If I remember it, I'll get back to you.
Cheers :drink:

I suppose that you have tried to disable Fblit and every other program that patches the graphics.library temporarily and that you have placed SystemPatch after FBlit?
-
Yes i had disabled FBlit.
Finally, i have given up with systempatch as messing with parameters caused the computer to not boot at all. Not a good idea to add weird bugs when everything works ;-)

SystemPatch 3.3 is running fine here together with MCP 1.48 (mcp.a1k.org).
But this tool was mainly made for 060.
