Thanks for the update.

Could we also have Workbench 2.x back in the Applications section of the AmigaForever player which disappeared when I upgraded to AmigaForever 2010 :-(

It would also be nice to have a kickstart 3.1 rom for 68k as it is the main thing missing from AmigaForever the main thing I have been upgrading between versions looking for.

Perhaps you should buy one of the more expensive editions. Only the Value Edition is missing the 3.1 ROM.

I have the most expensive version already with the Video DVDs.

@Thomas
The problem is that features that were in the older versions of the Amiga Forever Package seem to have been removed from the 2010 versions.

The supplied Kickstart 3.1 roms are from  an A3000 and a A4000 so do not work in 68K CPU emulation mode.  As such you cant emulate an A2000, A600 or even a Minimig with KickStart 3.1.

I do actually quite like the rest of the package and also enjoyed the DVDs, it would just be nice if the remaining niggles could also be fixed.

They do supply a Workbench 2.x hdf image which is installed but its just not linked to the player in anyway and I cant see a way to add it in myself.

You can just run it on its own if you make up your own config and with the supplied 2.05 roms from an A600, but it would be better if it was linked in and could be used with the enhanced GUI of the Amiga Forever Player.

I also don't really see the point of the ROM encryption, but it dose not cause any problems with WinUAE and you can easily remove the encryption if it causes problems with other Amiga emulators.
