Its not on ebay yet, cos i dont like selling things on ebay, ebay is the curse of auctions, too much bidding fever!
its on amibench though:
Amiga 1200 system... its big it's and it's fantastic
* Eyetech EZ Tower (Commodore Badged)
* A1200 motherboard
* 8Mb Ram board + FPU
* Internal IDE Hard Drive
* IDE CD Rom
* Floppy Drive
* Audio Port panel for CD Rom
* Amiga Mouse
* Monitor
£150 (ono) for the lot, I really want her to go to a nice home where she will be loved. I am moving away from England and cant take her with me. :-(
-
£150 for what is a stock A1200 in a crappy huge eyetech tower, dream on :-)
-
Yes i agree. It is a bog standard A1200 in a tower, with a CD ROM and Hard Drive.
Incidently, how much would i get for my A1200 system? £300+
-
whered you find the word stock?
An eyetech tower goes for £50 and can get even more on ebay.
An amiga with 020 8mb + FPU with harddrive and CDrom goes for over £70 and can go to more than £100 on ebay too.
not to mention the keyboard adapter the audio thing for the CD rom, the floppy drive and the monitor. plus if ur in north london u get it delivered to ur door. what more could you want?
I could get over £200 on ebay, but I am arguing with ebay now cos i spent too many nights running back to the monitor to make bids and give money to people who dont send any products
damn you Ryu and your hatred to the world. no beer for you
-
Okay maybe the monitor saves it then? What is that audio thingy then?
-
it connect to the cd-rom to pass through to the back panel to allow for left and right audio ports to be accessed. a nice little touch that was on it.
-
So, what i would listen to the CD Audio on the Paula chip or on seperate speakers?!
-
yeah, i havnt used it in a while cos i dont listen to music on my amiga, but thats the jist, i think its so the music from the cd is played seperatley to the music from the amiga or something
-
hehe I still say youve set your price way too high... Its only an old Phillips 15khz monitor, which isnt worth a lot either, and the CD-Rom audio thing isnt much to write home about :-).
Yes true there are idiots on ebay that will shell out stupid ammounts of money sometimes, but if your wanting to sell it on amibench I suggest you drop your price, look at how much others are selling things for on amibench, makes your add look some what silly. I dont set out to be nasty, just trying to help, both you and the idiots who would pay that ammount for it :-)
-
I got another a1200 for sale, thats for £300 though.
1240/40 32Mb, 4.3Gb Harddrive, CD-Rom, 200W PSU, Keyboard adapter, and all in the fancy case I will be showing off in bath :-D
I need to shift my gear before I leave :-(
the CD32's and the amiga 500+ are staying with me, so is the other A1200. I cant keep 3 1200s though, ive been told off. and seeing as they already threw out all my boxes and software i have to listen. I CANT BELIVE I LOST TWO BOXES OF BLITZ BASIC WiTH ALL THE MANUALS and on CD!
-
@CU_AMIGA... for your system, realistically perhaps £200, maybe a little more...
-
for £300... Id want the case made of gold dude :-P
-
@Ryu
£200!?!?!??!?
It has the PPC/Blizzardvision plus 256meg Ram! Are you sure? How much would your system come to? You are not trying to con me are you?! (joke)
@mantisspider
How much for that CD Audio thingy?
-
nah not selling seperately u need to buy the bundle dude. :-)
dont listen to RYU he is trying a scam or even scamola :-P sell it to me for a fiver
-
@CU_AMIGA
I'd probably get the same... since i have less ram but a hypercom3+... actually i might get slightly more once I add my Ethernet adaptor, so make that £230... Naturally if you sell it in pieces youll probably hit more towards the £300 mark... but as a job lot people expect to get quite a chunk dropped off the price tag.

AH GO ON! :-)
-
@Ryu,
But i have an 060 and you own an 040 don't you? An incredible difference there me thinks..... :-)
-
@CU_AMIGA
you can get nice little mixers from eyetech, mixes CD-Audio with paula, with even a level so you can get them both to output to the same volume... its made to fit a Z4 tower but I use one with my power tower, lets me play games with ingame CD music through the same set of speakers :-)
-
@Ryu,
Can you provide me a link to this marvelous peice of brillaince?
PS: You still buying Amiga OS 3.5?
-
"buying"
-
@CU_AMIGA dont have time to go searching eyetechs site atm, but im sure you can find it, it'll give you sommat to do ;-). And yup I will be as soon as I get some money together and sent off.
P.S I might of been slightly conservative with my pricing, you'll probably get more towards £250 maybe £280 pushing it...
-
oh DOH, you have an 060 dont you :-) Then yup you might get your £300 then :-)
