I wanna sell my bare A4000 to a guy in Belgium, not on Ebay. It has got kick 3.1, an empty 6 Gb hd, 40x CDrom, Hypercom Zorro card,16 Mb Fast, 68040/25 standard board (the real standard was a 68030) ... he offers 150 euro if I include an Xsurf and 100 euro for the A4000 alone. Is that enough ?? :-?

Is it in nice shape and working? If it is, you'll get more than 250E on eBay without a hitch for the 4000 alone (no Xsurf). Keep that in mind.

A bare A4000/030 with 3.0 ROM's went for around £325 last week on eBay UK. It was boxed and had hardly been used, which obviously increased it's value. 100Euro (£65?) for your A4000 alone seems very cheap!!! Ask for more :-D

Not a lot, It will probably cost you more to dispose of it than you would ever get get from selling it...
I'll tell you what, I'll take it off your hands for nothing... and since you seem like a nice guy, I'll even cover the shipping costs..
:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Remember that Amiga hardware is a seller's market. You could get 300 Euro for all the stuff you mention I reckon (I'm using Brit prices as a guide)
-
You just can't sell the Amiga 4000 for just £65?! :-o :-? Even if it is bare standard one.
Listen to Cyberus and co. Put it on ebay and watch the euros/pounds fly about all over the place, or ask more from your mate.
I will put a bid on it! :-) As i may be after one. Look out for redrumloa! :-(

Bloodline : haven't checked where you live but I do know that if you don't live in the neighbourhood that it would cost you nore than 90 euro for porto alone ;-)
I was actually thinking of selling it for 200 euro without the Xsurf but with a Hypercom and a Vlab (not Motion) ... Amiga may be a sellers market but I don't intend getting rich. I remember clearly that in the past two years I have bought at least 200 Amiga cdroms on german Ebay of which most are at an insulting low price, so I don't plan on getting the maximum out of the A4000 ...
But I prefer not to send it by mail, don't have a box that size and don't plan on buying a box at the post office. I live about 90 km from Brussels (Belgium), 15 km from Maastricht (Netherlands) and 50 km from Aachen (Germany) ...

Although it's true that some Ami's go for quite a sum on e-bay, being in Belgium you are somewhat limited as this is probably an AZERTY model which complicates things a bit.
You should easily get more than 150 without adding anything. If you can get 200 for a bare Ami 4000/040 consider it a good sell and go for it.
I sold mine recently for 800 though it had quite a few bells and whistles

Oh, well... it's noth worth it then
Seriously though, pop it on Ebay and you should get some really good money for it.

Popping it on Ebay means extra porto and that rises the price too high. I was bidding on that Pegasos machine in Australia last week and I got a mail that it would have costed me 90 euro for porto alone ...
The keyboard is indeed AZERTY, but the guy who wants to buy it lives in Belgium so that can not be any problem.
I offered the guy to sell it for 200 euro including the Hypercom and Vlab, and to have his Oktagon and Picasso2 installed here at my place and test it all ...
-
Maybe you feel ebay will make the price too high, so sell it however you wish, but don't be a chump. 200 Euro for an A4K, even if it is bare?
The A4K was at one point every serious amiga users fantasy. I'd take it for 200 but then I would be taking you for a ride. Don't listen to anybody telling you that it's unrealistic to expect to get a much better price (as long as its in good condition), they all want to grab this machine on the cheap.
It is a sellers market. Good luck dude :-)

What happend to that Amiga mountain of 9 A4000's and various more that were being sold by some guy?
I contacted him but he stoped answering...
Did anyone pick it up?? :-x :-o

9 A4000`s ?? Seems like there are still people with loads of hardware at home :-o
I´m gonna sell my A4000 too but it will be only one. I already got rid of my two A500´s and four C64´s ...
