I am about to place a 6.4GB, 2.5 inch IDE hard drive on ebay starting at $.01, so that way it sells for what it's really worth not what I **THINK** it's worth!
Before I do, I thought I'd offer it here! If ANYONE wants to swap a 3.1 kickstart set for Amiga 4000 LET ME KNOW!!
MUST be original chips NOT ones you burned off yourself, and must be in the U.S.!!!
PM me if intrested!

And....
Just to be fair: :-D
1. first come first served!! :-)
2. I will warrent the drive (for replacement) against DOA
IT'S SUPPOST TO MAKE THAT RATTLE SOUND!!!
I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, BUT IT IS!!! :-?

Still up for grabs....

Well, this doesn't exactly instill confidence:

good point!
There is a sticker on the drive that says," Clatter noise is normal if HDD is shaken."
That's part of the anti-shock mechanism, I assume.
I sold one of these on E-bay and the winner didn't 'get it' and claimed it was defective and REFUSED to even plug the unit in, fearing that it would damage her A1200!!!
It is normal, I assure you. All of the 2.5 inch IDE drives that I've gotten over the past FOUR YEARS have been like this.
AND I'm covering against arriving DOA, that should instil some confidence!!

Oh, well!!!!
Deal's off.
Look for it on ebay in the next couple of weeks!!
Thanks! :-?
