Title: FA: C-64 Collectible
Post by: motrucker on July 08, 2010, 07:47:16 PM
Here is what may really qualify as a rare Commodore collectible.

I "won" this back in 1985 (or so). I lost the certificate that came with it, but the patch is in excellent condition.

In the eBay Amiga section, I have two SCSI cables - HD50 > Centronics 50 and HD50 to DB 25 - both new, and both about four feet long. I think it's a very fair price too.

It has/had meaning to you.  Isn't this a little like selling a sport trophy that you won?  :-)

A little. But people collect these little devils (quite a few games from the period offered patches for "winning" scores).
It's a nice patch, and may give some one else some pleasure.

The SCSI cable is listed in this link;

http://cgi.ebay.com/SCSI-Cable-50HD-50-Centronics-/170509772807?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b32ca807

The HD50 > DB25 is;

http://cgi.ebay.com/SCSI-Cable-HD-50-DB-25-/170509774334?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b32cadfe

There is only one day + on the cables. 4091 users will need these cables - and there are other applications too.
