I'm proud to show you the latest dev build of AMC in form of a new preview video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ov6jwDPjmE
Some changes/additions:
official TMDb-Support
Web-TV incl. Recording
PlugIns-Support
Help-Windows (just press the H-key to get e explanation of the selected option)
simple, optimized for remotes, control
Videos, Photos/Images, Audio, Radio- and Videostreams are supported
it comes already with a large list of available streams
Volume can be changed everywhere in the program
Webstrems recording (Timeshift - you can record one stream and still do another thing like enjoying a slideshow and so on)
About AMC:
AMC comes for MOS, AOS and AROS
It is done with Hollywood
It is not "free" but it will be low budget
It will be the start/base for more
A Amiga-system with AMC in the startup boots faster than a stand-alone media-center box - trust me : ) This has potential to bring Amiga back to Multimedia / Mainstream?!
AMC, AresOne (v1 + v2) and Broadway can be tried at the Amiga Event in Essen (Germany) visit us and have fun. There will be more secret shown ; )
-
Is the interface controllable with an IR or Bluetooth multimedia remote?
-
I thought in the beginning youtube was playing an advert for condoms! Looks good man, that's one slick interface. Good choice of music too.
-
IR as long the IR-modul is connected via USB and works as HID (Human Interface Device)
@koaftder
:roflmao:

This is just cool.. :)
-
running AMC on this http://www.vesalia.de/e_zalman_hd160xtplus[5733].htm
with 7" touchscreen is even cooler : )
This way you don't need to power on your TV for listening to your tunes.
If you need a new Media Center (remember WIFI is coming too) you "could" consider a AresOne rev1 coming soon ; )

Looks great, only one tiny problem with that setup.. its DVD only.. :( I guess you can just change the drive tho.
But DVD is outdated...
-
Well this case has only the label DVD, there is not Drive installed : )
This is just a suggestion , you can get also smaller and less expensive HTPC-cases.
