Title: Can TV Paint handle animation?
Post by: Ral-Clan on June 28, 2010, 03:51:57 PM
Hi,

I was just reading about TV Paint online and found out that the later versions can handle video frame / animation.

The latest Amiga version, which was released for free a while ago is a really great paint application, but I haven't been able to find any animation features in it.

Does anyone know if it's possible with the latest Amiga version?

Unfortunately, no. It is a great and very fast paint program with RTG, as you've learned. But no animation features in the Amiga version.

Oh, too bad.

So what RTG paint programs can handle animation?

- ImageFX
- Personal Paint
- Perfect Paint

Those are the only ones that I know of...

the older version of TV Paint (2.1 I think) is the best version.
As for animations it is better to use a program like Magic Latern to make make the animations of TV Paint pics
