Title: How to make PPaint toolbox match screen resolution?
Post by: mingle on June 28, 2010, 01:57:41 PM
Hi,

I'm running my Amiga (actually WinUAE!) in 1280 x 1024 resolution and having a great time...

However, when I use PPaint, the toolbox/toolbar appears in a very blocky/chunky resolution, rather than a nice, small size, to suit the working screen - see attached pic.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the resolution of the toolbox, or am I stuck with the block scaled version?

Cheers,

Mike.

Try using  ModePro  (http://aminet.net/util/cdity/ModePro.lha)

Why not ask Cloanto - they're actually still around!
And no, ModePro wont help any for this.

Personal Paint has a set of low-res and high-res toolbar icons. It is already using the high resolution icons for your resolution, but it is doubling the size of them so the toolbar will be the same size it is in 640x512. There's no way to make it smaller, but if you hit F9 and F10 you can make the toolbar and title bar disappear and reappear if that helps.

Hi Cammy/Mingle
If I remember right (its been a while) go into Image format and change the settings in there. Select your Res and then  use the Curly arrow to move that down so both boxes are the same res.
(sorry for the poor description) I could do Photos tomorrow to make it clearer!! save (or lock) and hopefully the toolbar icons Will be smaller.
