I've had this for a couple of weeks, it works perfect. The reason I am selling is because I should be getting as many as 25 more eMacs in a week or so.
PM if interested.

And you don't have room for 26? :)
What is your plan, install MorphOS on the lot and sell them off? Will be interesting to see how much interest there is.

Pretty much! I'm a sucker for any large lot of retro-related stuff. With the weight and bulk size of these, it will be a lot of sweating and not much profit. That said it will get tested eMacs in the hands of Amiga/MorphOS users for a relatively good price. These are from the local school system, so they should all be well used with no capacitor worries. I should be getting some MDD Power Macs too.

What are the limitations of the Demo version of the OS? I sold my old eMac ages ago now and didn't keep up with the Morph OS for it.
-
After 30 minutes it slows down to a crawl, at which point you have to reboot in order to use it for another 30 minutes without issue.
Personally I think they ought to set the limit to an hour, considering that would give you more time to copy stuff through the network or USB drive to install and test, but still, not a bad way to demo the software.

Why no MacOS X on it? Isn't the MacOS X license free with the machine? Dual boot would be better than only MorphOS.

If I had only waited an extra week... Oh well.

This eMac didn't have an OS installed, the school board wiped it out and I don't have any OSX OEM CDs on hand. The buyer is certainly welcome to put what they wish on it.

There are still PPC linux distros including Ubuntu.

30 minutes is never enough to download updated OWB from Fab.

Do as I did, dualboot with OSX or linux, format the other OS partition as a filesystem MorphOS can read then just download everything from OSX/Linux and just reboot in MorphOS and use it all :) Or use a USB flashdrive from another computer ^^

I download to my own server, and then download from there with my morphos-machines - just wanted to point out that a certain site is very slow ;)

Luckily you can find it mirrored at MorphOS Files (http://morphos-files.net/), should be a faster download.

I envy that prices, i dont find emacs at this prices in europe but the shipment for this weights are prohibitive sometimes.
