Hey,
Just wanted to ask, what is the state of Python on Amiga OS 3.x?
Is this the latest version:
http://aminet.net/package/dev/gg/python2.4-m68k-amigaos
I'm wondering if it would be possible to backport from AROS this Python version:
http://archives.aros-exec.org/index.php?function=showfile&file=development/language/python-2.5.2.i386-aros.tar.gz
It would be even nicer to have 2.6 or 3.0!
Also some libraries could be ported... maybe PIL?
Perhaps I can try and work on this... i'd like to get Python 2.5.2 and PIL working under WinUAE...
Just wondered if anyone knew of problems porting Python or PIL...?
I know PIL is available for OS4.x, maybe those sources can be used for 3.x?
Just some thoughts anyway.
