Nexus Development released the eaudio.device source codes.

You can download the eaudio.device sources archive. The entire project was written to work on MorphOS but you would be able to port it to several other AmigaOS systems setups.

If the AROS team are serious about AROS having proper AmigaOS API support then they must port this package to AROS. This will avoid having to strip all the sound out of games which are ported to AROS. Worm Wars and Koules being cases in point.
