Simple question here...
What am I supposed to do with the file in the .zip archive named lanclip for windows?
Naming it an exe gives me an error code under XP...
Any ideas?

Mein Gott...
You don't know what a zip file is?
-
Sigh...
Well, a zip file is an pkzip archive, a format similar to lha on Amiga.
Go to www.winzip.com, download winzip, install it, then double click on your zip file and extract the contents where you want, such as C:\Program Files.

Erm... :-D
Sorry KennyR...
I know what an zip is...
I'll express myself better this time:
It's the file INSIDE the .zip I'm interested in... :-)
Windows doesn't reconize it by default so this is why I'm interested in what I do with it?
-edit-
the file in the .zip archive
See?

The file is already called LANClip.exe. Nobody else has any trouble running it.
Bear in mind that under XP, LANClip will probably just crash. This version isn't very good. I've handed development of the PC version over to someone else who will do a better job, but he's since done absolutely nothing... *sigh*.
It makes no odds to me, since I gave the PC that I borrowed to write it back to its owner.

ok... thanks..
I'll just wait and see if there should be an XP version out soon then :-)

I have XP and doesn't crash, but the PC.exe doesn't paste the AMiGA clipbard (although I can paste from the PC clipboard :-? ). I'm looking forward to having soon a new version.
