This external box looks like a Mac Bottom. The brand is HD Index. Has a used (little use) IBM 540Mb hard drive formatted in Amiga OS 3.1. SCSI ID can be set from rear of case - has it's own PSU.
This does NOT include a SCSI interface. I have used this setup (with different hard drives) on an A1200, A1000 and A2000.
$30.00 plus shipping

How much and will it work with Amiga 1000? Can you post some more pics?

You'd need some kind of SCSI adapter before it would work on an A1000. The Zorro 2 Slingshot adapter with an A2091 card for instance.

save2600 is right. This does not include a SCSI interface. It has a PSU for the hard drive, activity LED and pass through port (Centronics 50 port).
I have one more IBM 520 Mb SCSI hard drive (used, but only a few hours on it).
PM me for a price
Wouldn't you know my camera is acting up. I will try to get more pics up, asap
