Title: RGB Monitors for Commodore 128?
Post by: mingle on June 10, 2010, 03:53:23 AM
Hi all,

With the impending arrival of my C128D, I'm just wondering what monitors would support both the composite video out and digital RGBI of the C128?

I have an NEC Multisync II, which can handle the Digital RGB (80 column mode) output, but will need something that can handle the C64 mode output...

I know that the Commodore 1901 monitor will do this, but they are almost impossible to find.

Does anyone know if the 1084 series can handle digital RGB?

Cheers,

Mike.

Yes, the 1084 series supports composite and digital RGB.  Here in North America, the 1080 series and some 1902 series support composite and digital RGB.  Then there are the Phillips/Magnavox models and a few off-brands that support composite and digital RGB.
