It offers increased video RAM and an overall speed improvement of 25%.

I see the linux port... interestig for amiga/morphos... emulate "PC" on g3/g4 are very interesting jejeje

I havent read the article so apologies if this is a dumb question...
I heard the 'G5' lacks the endian switching operations present in earlier PowerPC chips.
Is this fact, and if so, anybody got any info on the impact its had for G5 systems running a PC emulation?
-
I've always wondered, how much hardware does it emulate? Does it offer some kind of software SoundBlaster for DOS games, or can it only run Windows apps?
-
Can you also use it on a 68030 with Red Hat Linux ?? :-P

@wacoon
I haven't used it for years, but I think it emulates a SB16, an S3 Trio64v2 video card, and it wraps windows directX calls to the Mac video card if it's 3D-capable.
Alltogether, it can emulate a PC very well; not as slow as one might expect.

That would suck! The Endian agnostic nature of the PPC was one of the best things about it!
