I`m using Makecd(3.2b9) with yamaha8x cd-w.I burned 2 mp3`s cd`s iso9660 level2 at 1x speed(IDE) without any prblems but when I tryed to burn my WB partition to cd with iso9660-Amiga attrib cd writed no errors then cd-w and cdrom cant read it..It said read error flaw in disc bla bla I tryed 2 times cd-r is sony700mb and buffer was 22mb.only thing i did reduce the cd-w speed to single(1) for buffer underrun prblem.I use image file for writing so where is the problem? Any suggestions?

Have you set these?
-Track Options: Advanced Options ->Data (Mode 1)
-ISO image settings: RockRidge, World/Group access, Save Amiga file attributes, ISO Level 9660 Amiga, Convert .info suffix to lower case.
And a final note: Fix the session after you have burnt the CD.

Sure I did it.I selected Fix CD-R not session I`ll not copy again later.Strange prblem I use Asimcdfs3.10 it support rockridge..etc when writing finished makecd can read drive content 79min used then I reset the machine and open makecd again bom! it cant read! its very interesting..I tryed to put my cdrom to read that cds nothing changed.

then I reset the machine and open makecd again bom! it cant read!
You mean after reseting the AMiGA, the CD just burnt, cannot be read neither by Amiga CDFS, nor by the MakeCD?
-MakeCD target CD-R->Repair CD-R
Try to experiment yourself with CDRWs, so you save some CDs from being wasted.
Tip: Make sure you have the latest demo, or a registered version, else you'll always get faulty CDs. ;-)

Yes.after reseting amiga burned cd cant read with makecd and amycdfs but before burning process ended makecd can read cd content.I`m not stupid kuklamu ;> I already tryed repair cd nothing changed.I use reg version.

I get a similar problem... but it is because my CD writer is really old and crappy (it reads CD-ROMs and audio CD-Rs and that's about it)
Anyway, back to the issue in hand, do you have the latest makecdromfs.module? If not, download it from here (http://makecd.core.de) and try again - it might help.
- edit - there's a beta10 available so you might want to grab that at the same time, especially as it "adds support for new Yamaha drives"

My Cd-wr also old yamaha8X but it can read mp3 cds i burned before.Only this hdd copy thing cant read.I`vent latest one I`ve beta9 crack and beta10 doesnt work with it;> my pc not working so i forced to use amiga for this operation.Maybe new drivers would help but I burned 2 mp3 cds before with same config..

I`m not stupid kuklamu ;>
Kuklamu stands for "?????? ???"? You're wrong any way. I tried to tell you the easy way :
"Make sure you have the latest demo, or a registered version, else you'll always get faulty CDs."
I`ve beta9 crack
That's why you're getting errors.
Alles klar, herr kommissar? ;-)

i have burned like 20 of theese , no problem what so ever, i even had to boot from cdrom (SYS) once when my hdds died.., worked fine..
i dont see what kind of a problem you have, sorry.
anyway i use a regged version and v3.2.10b ..
-
Are you sure you have entered your final registration number? Because
if you don't then the copy protection code may activate and MakeCD
burns empty CDs only.
Never ever use cracked versions. Those are known to fail.

This one crk 3.2 beta9 lots of prblems..Anyway I never tryed to boot from cd(sys) how u did it?
Itix, this one is crack only prblem beta9

Editing an Emergency boot disk, to fit the backup needs:
mount df0:/devs/dosdrivers/cd0
Assign sys: cd0:
Assign C: SYS:C
Path C:
Assign S: SYS:S
Assign L: SYS:L
Assign LIBS: SYS:Libs
Assign DEVS: SYS:DEVS
Assign FONTS: SYS:Fonts
Execute S:Startup-Sequence
etc... ;-)
