It's not so difficult to view the page source and extract it from there!

Nope, the Oliver twins (Phil and Andrew) came up with the concept for Dizzy, and did some of the Dizzy games. Other Dizzy games were coded by Fred Williams, Jon Cartwright among others.
The Dizzy games were published by Codemasters, which is owned by another set of brothers, the Darlings (Richard and David).
The Oliver twins split from Codemasters in the early 90's and set up their own games company called Interactive Studios. Their first game was Fire and Klawd on the PS1 and Wargames on the PC.
Interactive Studios was renamed to Blitz Games about 3.5 years ago. They went on to release Chicken Run, Little Mermaid, Frogger 2, The Mummy, Fuzion Frenzy, and several other games.
The rights to Dizzy was retained by Codies as far as I know, but I remember Phil Oliver mentioning that they wanted to buy the rights back.
Anyway, I think Dizzy is a great character, and should come back. The movie on that website looks very cool indeed. Blitz have a good track record of producing fun platform action games, and Dizzy would be right up their street. Fingers crossed :-)

bloodline: because i am a AMIGA user and not a linux user..
But you have a capable machine just sitting there!!! doing nothing :-(
If I had an AmigaONE I'd have the thing up and running now, with or without OS4! I'd also probably be trying to get AROS to work too :-P
Come on!!! Bite the bullet, it's the faster, most powerful machine you have, you HAVE to at least use it once... It might not even work!!
-
bloodline:well if you want to use linux or windows, i aint stopping you.
and about os4...thats another thing oh and btw os4 doesnt have netscape either , hence... why i asked for a direct link.

I used to like these games.

Dizzy is better played on the ZX Spectrum computers, that is Dizzys' "home" computer really. Even though it was developed and transfered to the Amstrad, hence both ports being similar as always.
I wouldn't really welcome another Dizzy game, as there were far too many to begin with, how many did they make? :-?
-
@lando
thanks mate, i always thought the dizzy brothers owned codemasters... doh!
-
dizzy is cool...but very annoying :)
anyway i belived Dizzys home was C64 and not speccy....

The dizzy game they never dared make:

The Spectrum versions were the best :-D

The proper platformers:
Dizzy
Treasure Island Dizzy
Fantasy World Dizzy
Magicland Dizzy
Dizzy - Prince of the Yolkfolk
Spellbound Dizzy
Crystal Kingdom Dizzy
The others:
Fast Food
Kwik Snax
Bubble Dizzy
Prince of the Yolkfolk is one of the best Dizzy games (although it's a bit short) and Spellbound is the biggest Dizzy game so far. It's a bit of a weird one, they went in a very slightly different way with it.
Crystal Kingdom Dizzy is just utter crap.

i just found this on ebay
5 GAME DIZZY COLLECTION PACK AMIGA SYSTEMS
dizzy collection. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3060098430&category=3545)

Cool, I've got that set for the Speccy :-D
-
No! No! Lempkee!
The ZX Spectrum is the HOME of Dizzy games. The Oliver Twins wrote the coding on the ZX Spectrum, then tranfered the gam over to the Amstrad via a printer cable, and the rest is history!!!
The best Dizzy games are:
Dizzy
Treasure Island Dizzy
Fantasy World Dizzy
Magic Land Dizzy
@Vincent
I had that games collection as well when i owned a Speccy. But sadly the Speccy died. But luckily i know emulate the Spectrum on my Amiga via ASp, possibly the best of its type about. God bless Ian Greenway! :-)
I personally like the legendary speech on Treasure Island and Fantasy World Dizzy! Especially FW, souns like an Irish Leprican!

I've still got my Speccy +2 (one Amstrad version with a dodgy tape deck and 2 Sincclair versions that are fine :-D ) I've still got boxes full of games :-D

That's one thing I'm damn sure never selling or getting rid of.
I've been a Speccy user since the good old rubber-keyed 48k back in the mid 80s. The first game we got was meant to be Rapscallion, but the shop gave us Manic Miner instead :-? My dad had the great idea of trying to copy it before taking it back and getting Rapscallion (possibly my favourite 48k game). Guess what I was playing while he went back to the shop :-P
Since then my games collection just kept growing and growing. Pity I had to sell the 48k to buy the +2 though :-( I really want a 48k again.
Oh, and by the way CU_Amiga, check out this link (for the colourblind people - click me ;-) ) (http://www.dizzyzone.org/index.php?main=games/dizzy) for a list of Dizzy games - official and unofficial. I was going to copy and paste them here, but I thought the link would be more informative as each game has a seperate page telling you which formats they were on ;-)
