Hmm interesting....

I have one Amiga project that I wanted for long. Schematics and software are out there, it shouldnt be too hard to modify it for my needs. Maybe you can help me:

It involves creating a flash kickstart solution for an A1200. There are already schematics and software available for an A500/A600/A2000/etc (see http://aminet.net/docs/hard/DC-KF500.lha).

So the thing I want is to have this exact same device modified for an A1200. Remember that the A1200 has two rom sockets and the kickstart is differently mapped.

Could you help me sort out the modifications required and help me build this device in a way that it renders it compatible with the software of the A500 version? I have no problems in paying for components and shipping.

Please let me know.

@Vlabguy1:

What country are you from anyhow? I forgot to ask? I'm presuming you are from New York?

Anyhow, if you are ever up for the task, I'm going to be the ever so happy owner of 2 VBXE's for my Atari 800 XL's very soon and was looking for someone who might know what they are doing to install them (and maybe some RAM) for me.

I'm good on the basic stuff, but I know for sure that this one is beyond my current level of experience.

Ya ya ya, rub it in! :)

Alright, well here's the deal, I'm about to send out the payment for both of the boards, then dude man in Poland will build them and ship them out, so it'll be a while till I'm ready.

In the mean time I have added you to my contacts and will contact you when everything is in place.

Thankx again Vlabguy1!

The A1200 already has flash support built in, check the schematics..

Thanks, I have just seen the schematics, it should be pretty straightforward to implement it the way I want.

Hi VlabGuy1,

Would you be willing to inspect, clean, restore an Amiga 2000 motherboard? I have my hands in so many activities, I'd be more than happy to send it to you.
