I have a new monitor that is an LCD and I have heard that is puts off a blue light that can hurt the eyes.
Can anyone recomend a filter?
Also, is there someone here that is an expert in workstation ergonomics?
Thanks.

If the LCD is "hurting" your eyes then turn the brightness down. You don't need a filter for an LCD.

I'm sure it's only CRTs that are dangerous, from the back and sides in particular.
If you have the money I'm sure an office supply store will indulge your paranoia.
Regarding workstation ergonomics: Whatever makes you feel comfortable. Take lots of breaks, get up for a stretch every thirty minutes. Above all take care of your arms, your mouse arm should be able to fully relax and move the mouse with little effort. If typing causes you pain, you'll need to adjust how you type.

I thought my monitor brightness was fixed by Win7. I did turn it down manually and it is better. I have heard that lcd gives off a blue light that the eyes can not focus on, is this true, or a way to sell some glasses?
I know all this sounds stupid.
I need to figure it out for some classes that I am taking this summer.
