Title: ECS Software Requirements
Post by: Super TWiT on May 04, 2010, 06:04:02 PM
I currently have an amiga 500 with a ecs agnus and a 512 k ram expansion. In order to run ecs software do I need to do the hardware mod to make 1 mb of chip ram? Or will it run anyway?

If the software you want to run requires 1 meg chip ram then you do, if it doesn't then you don't.

ECS can also mean non-AGA Amiga. So an Amiga 500/1000/2000/3000. Next time you ask this question say, "Help I need more chip memory."
