i have an A1200 with 3.0 roms and when I try to run any AGA games in whdload it asks for kick40068.A1200. Apparently I cannot generate this rom with GrabKick because I am running 3.0 roms and not 3.1
I tried to use GrabKick with Amiga Forever 2006 but the kick40068.A1200 generated by it seems to be invalid...
Any idea on how to solve this?
Thanks

You don't have 3.1, so you can't run it under the name kick40068.a1200. Under 3.0 it should be kick39106.A1200 or so. You might wanna grab skick346 from aminet to get the matching RTB file.

That seems odd to me, seems like WHDLoad should be able to load the newer ROM. Never tried myself, though I did softkick 3.1 for a short time...

You should be able to use the kickstart file from Amiga Forever but you need use the rom.key, too.

I had the same problem. All I did was to rename my kickstart rom file from winuae to 'kick40068.A1200' and placed it in my DEVS:Kickstarts directory.

I think i read that if you use a rom grabbing utility under WinUAE you will get a decrypted ROM-file. If you name it correctly it should work with WHDLoad (you will also need an RTB-file which can be found in the Skick-archive on Aminet).
